Chow Thai Addison was established in the early 1990s by Sam and Vinnie Virasin, restaurateurs from Southern California who moved to Dallas, Texas. Chow Thai was created to meet a need for excellent Thai food in a stylish setting in North Dallas. The restaurant's first review by the Dallas Morning News mentioned the wonderful flavors, eye-catching décor, and the fashionable customers. Chow Thai's décor and menu have undergone improvements over the years while retaining the same pride in service and culinary excellence.

Your hunger that is. Cafe Madrid's specialty is tapas, the little Spanish dishes whose name means "to cover." They began as freebies in bars: thin slices of serrano ham or saucers of food set atop wineglasses to keep out pesky fruit flies. Today, you'll find a huge variety of tapas, both hot and cold. Cafe Madrid offers a splendid assortment, and while it wasn't Dallas' first tapas spot, at 18 years-plus it probably is the longest running. We've never left disappointed.
The Black-eyed Pea Restaurant known for it's Southern and Western fare, from chicken-fried steak and cornbread to pot roast and seafood, started in Dallas in the year 1975. In the years to follow, the company franchised out to many locations in Texas, and in Colorado, later expanding to Tennessee. In September 2004, BEP Colorado Restaurants LLC of Denver, purchased the Colorado franchises. The casual-dining concept of the Black-eyed Pea at that time was based in Madison, TN.
