Historic Mesquite, Inc. is organized to provide leadership to search records, preserve and accumulate local history, including sites, artifacts, genealogy data and any and all items pertaining to all periods of local history; to build on the past to preserve the history of the community; to encourage other organizations to be historically minded for the common goal of preservation; and to identify areas and places of historical significance.

Re-interviewing firefighters to cost city $150,000
