Chayon-Ryu Martial Arts was founded in Houston, Texas in 1968 by Grandmaster Kim Soo. Arlington Chayon-Ryu Martial Arts has been in the Metroplex area since 1994 and is operated by Chief Instructor Robert McLain.

The modern approach of teaching has been evolved out of necessity to ensure that students can protect themselves in various situations and has proven to be the most effective method of developing a multitude of skill levels in the shortest time possible.

Students who enroll in our Martial Arts program achieve high level of mental and physical discipline, increased confidence, self-respect, physical fitness, and learn effective self-defense skills. Our programs focus on personal development.

We offer a full line of Martial Arts equipment and supplies, as well as weapons, punching bags, Martial Arts uniforms and shoes, and sparring gear from major brands; such as, Adidas, Century, ProForce, Asian World of Martial Arts, Tiger Claw, Hurley, Pine Tree, Macho and many more.

When practiced consistently, Taekwon-Do produces invaluable physical and mental improvements. Students develop real and lasting self-confidence.

We offer clean, comfortable and spacious training area, where parents and others may view classes ar any time. There are seperate dressing areas to change into uniforms or workout clothes, if coming from work or school.

The Dallas Budôkai is an organization dedicated to the instruction and preservation of the classical martial arts and ways of Japan. We offer instruction in Sangaku ryû jûjutsu, Meian shakuhachi, and Shodô.

Since 2001, Ormaza's Family Karate has been providing professional instruction to children and adults of all ages in the Dallas, NC area.
