El Pollo Regio

The Egg & I was created in 1987 in Fort Collins, Colorado. From humble roots, it has expanded across the nation based on the simple premise that friendly people serving delicious food matters.

ROCKFISH is a casual, neighborhood restaurant company based in Dallas, Texas. We offer fresh, delicious tasting seafood at reasonable prices and are open every day for lunch and dinner.

The oysters did indeed taste fresh, tender and delicate -- not at all fishy. The fish was cooked just right and the Creole rice that came with it was yummy. The coleslaw - not too gooey, not too dry -- was spectacular. So good, in fact, it alone justifies a return visit. Besides to-die-for lemon meringue pie and scrumptious bread pudding with whiskey sauce, dessert options include vanilla ice cream or pineapple sherbet. The restaurant attracts an eclectic mix of downtown and Uptown business people, shoppers from Highland Park and hip urbanites. There's often a line out the door. It's an old-timey place that serves butter with its crackers and doesn't make customers have to ask for a glass of water. Ownership and management have stayed much the same since it opened 30 years ago, as has the menu. Besides attracting a loyal customer base, S&D also has a faithful crew, with several employees having been on staff since the beginning.

Bailey's Prime Plus is a new upscale steakhouse concept crafted by prominent Dallas restaurateur Ed Bailey. The design of our restaurants feature grand dining rooms and are adorned with well-appointed, contemporary artwork.

Served cold or hot, Tapas have evolved into an entire cuisine, whereby patrons of tapas restaurants can order many different tapas and combine them to make a full meal.

Tapa means "lid" or "cover" in Spanish. There are several explanations for the etymology of "tapa":

A commonly cited explanation is that an item, be it bread or a flat card, etc., would often be placed on top of a drink to protect it from fruit flies; at some point it became a habit to top this "cover" with a snack.
