Metl-Span is dedicated to manufacturing and marketing the finest insulated building panel products. Metl-Span began in 1968 as Controlled Building Systems Corporation in Dallas, Texas. Hussmann Corporation acquired the company in 1974 renaming it Metl-Span Insulated Panel Division. The company returned to private ownership in 1983 and moved the operation to new, expanded facilities in Lewisville, Texas.
