CareFlite's transport service also includes ground ambulance units. The incorporation of the ground ambulance element with the helicopter and fixed wing programs makes CareFlite one of the few truly comprehensive patient transport services in the nation. CareFlite Ground specializes in the non-emergent transfer of patients to and from Dallas area hospitals, private residences, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other health care facilities. In accordance with the patient's needs, either an ALS or BLS crew can be utilized. This flexibility allows CareFlite Ground to offer the level of care the patient requires.

Our medical transportation services take patients to and from Dallas area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, specialty hospitals, doctors offices, retirement/independent housing, assisted living communities, dialysis centers, cancer treatment centers, private residences, and senior health care.
