From the ballot box to the classroom, the dedicated workers, organizers, and leaders who forged this great organization and maintain its status as a champion of social justice, fought long and hard to ensure that the voices of African Americans would be heard. For nearly one hundred years, it has been the talent and tenacity of NAACP members that has saved lives and changed many negative aspects of American society.

Most people have heard of Crime Stoppers but don't really know what it is. If that is the case with you, please take a few minutes to learn more about Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers was started in Albuquerque, N.M., in 1976 and there are now programs in England, Australia, Canada and Africa. The program began as an effort to obtain information on a murder case. The caller was guaranteed anonymity and that guarantee continues to this day.

In 1917, Melvin Jones, a Chicago business leader, told members of his local business club they should reach beyond business issues and address the betterment of their communities and the world. Jones' group, the Business Circle of Chicago, agreed.
After contacting similar groups around the United States, an organizational meeting was held on June 7, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The new group took the name of one of the invited groups, the "Association of Lions Clubs," and a national convention was held in Dallas, Texas, USA in October of that year. A constitution, by-laws, objects and a code of ethics were approved.

Welcome to the Dallas Baseball Umpire Associaiton (DBUA) website. This site provides information about the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Association of Sports Officials - Baseball Division. The Dallas chapter provides officials for public and private school baseball programs for the Dallas Area.

The Dallas Amateur Baseball Association has been playing high quality amateur baseball in the Dallas area for over 70 years. Over the past three seasons, many players have been signed with two and four year schools to continue their playing careers.

The Metroplex Softball Umpires Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization in the State of Texas. MSUA is a member in good-standing of the United States Specialty Sports Association which sanctions and governs all league and tournament play.

The Coppell Girls Softball Association extends an invitation to you to become part of the fun. We are here for your daughter. We are here for you.

FBSA seeks to implant in the youth of this community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverance, so they may be finer, stronger and happier youths who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults.

The DCSA serves church teams throughout the Dallas area in meeting the need for fellowship opportunities between churches within the context of Christian fellowship.
