Our mission at Kidd Academy is to provide an enriching environment where children can learn and develop to their maximum potential. Our holistic approach addresses children in the developmental process from every aspect: cognitively, socially, and developmentally. Guided by our highly trained staff, your child will follow the well established HighReach Learning program. In addition, they will participate in activities to promote self confidence, independence, and responsibility, all within a warm and caring environment. Kidd Academy believes that every child deserves support, individual attention, and recognition. The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training.

In the future Scouting will continue to

* Offer young people responsible fun and adventure;

* Instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law;

* Train young people in citizenship, service, and leadership;

* Serve America's communities and families with its quality, values-based program.

With the Maylee Thomas Band playing on stage, Smiles for Habitat brought everyone out to enjoy rock climbing walls, a look into a rescue helicopter, bounce houses, slides, a hot air balloon and music near the lake at the Croatian village at Adriatica in Stonebridge on Memorial Day weekend. In addition to Maylee Thomas of McKinney, the concert featured Lone Star Attitude and Little Big Town on stage. George Fuller, who recently ran for mayor of McKinney, played guitar along side Maylee.
