Hans Johnsen Company was founded in 1901 by Hans Johnsen. Hans Johnsen imigrated from Denmark in the late 1890s and came through Ellis Island to Texas City on the coast later to move to Dallas, Texas. He purchased the assets of Boren Bicycle in 1901 and changed the name to Hans Johnsen Company. The company which started in the bicycle business has also been in the automotive parts, motorcycle and lawnmower business. The locksmith end of the business came about in the 1920s to service the automotive garages that cut keys. During the 1930s the company left the automotive business and encouraged the bicycle dealers to cut keys and do lock work. In the 1940s the locksmith and bicycle business separated and today we are exclusively in the bicycle and locksmith businesses.

Rich in history and tradition, AER began operations in the early 1940s in the back of a local automobile dealership in Texas. With steel and iron supplies in short supply, and the country and production lines focused on WWII, Henry Ford sought ways to keep the automobile industry alive and cars and trucks running at home.

Barrett Motors began financing vehicles for customers back in 1983. A lot has changed since then....and a lot hasn't. We've seen the town of Rowlett grow up around us. We've seen our company grow from one location to three (Garland and Sachse) and we've seen the addition and expansion of our two car shop to a 10,000 square foor state of the art service facility. We've seen the expansion of our company from a one man lot to over twenty employees and over twelve thousand customers. The one thing through all this time that hasn't changed is our commitment to offering financing to people with credit issues on late model, low mileage quality cars, trucks and SUV's.

Sachse Rod Shop is located in Sachse, Texas in the far northeast corner of Dallas county. We are located off of highway 78 between Garland and Wylie. Sachse Rod Shop opened its doors in 1982 and is the oldest full-service rod shop in the Dallas metroplex area. We originated as a labor-oriented shop in the early eighties doing mainly chassis fabrication. In the beginning, we worked in the shop after hours and on weekends. The shop maintained these hours until the summer of 1988 when the decision was made to keep the shop open full time for the convenience of our customers. As the requests for expanded services increased, we developed the skills and qualities necessary to build complete vehicles from the ground up.

D&M Auto Leasing was established in 1976 by Don Davis and David Moritz, two Dallas area automobile dealers. The company was later sold to D&M Auto Leasing's current management and has become the largest consumer car leasing company in America.
