Our family has served the Dallas area for over 50 years. William D. "Bill" Spurlock began his career in the funeral business in 1949. Charles W. Smith founded Eastgate after 25 years in management at a large corporately owned funeral home in Dallas. W. Scott Smith, son to Charles and grandson to Bill is a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1993.
